Where evlogr is better
- If you have more than one Tesla, the maths isn't close: Tessie bills per vehicle, so two cars cost roughly double. Max covers up to five for one flat price.
- A free tier that never expires, so you can leave it running on one car and decide later.
- EU hosting and GDPR-native handling, rather than a US service with an EU privacy policy.
- Charging costs computed against real time-of-use tariffs — the number you'd actually reconcile against your electricity bill.
Moving your history across
Export your data from Tessie as CSV and import it into evlogr. Nothing is lost, and you can keep both running in parallel while you decide.
That’s the part most people worry about, so it’s the part we built first — the importer reads a CSV export, shows you exactly what it will bring in, and never duplicates rows if you run it twice.
